Hi

Using KMail 1.9.1 on KDE 3.5.2 on Debian Etch (testing).

Sometimes KMail sets the character set of an outgoing mail to strange
character sets. Twice in the last week it set it to Japanese, and today it
was Arabic. This creates problems for the recipients who cannot read my
emails.

Is KMail trying to be over-intelligent and setting the char set in response
to some emails ? I have checked the charset of the email I responded to,
and it is us-ascii. In the settings, I have only iso-8859-1 as the charset
in the Composer > Charset list. How do I make dead certain that KMail
always uses plain vanilla iso-8859-1 ?
