| hi,
I'm trying to get my realtek 8139 network card to work for a debian
network installation.
ifconfig has no output
With lsmod I see that module 8139too is unused. Modprobe 8139too hasn't
changed anything.

Are you sure it is an 8139 card? What is the output of lspci?
