Free Software How?

| One thing thats niggling me. How can Ubuntu send out free shipit CD's
and keep up the cost. You can download for free, you can obtain
applications for free, you get free updates. They have several domains
and websites dedicated to Ubuntu. Who or what is funding all this? How
long can Ubuntu keep this up? Curious thats all.

Canonical is funding it. It's a marketing expense. They will probably
stop eventually.

You should really try to figure out what "multi-posting" is, and why it is
NOT the right way to use Usenet. Some folks might even call you an
XXXXXXX for doing it. Bonus points for learning what "crossposting" is.

Maybe you should be working instead of posting to google, ever think of
that?

Youth is when you blame all your troubles on your parents; maturity is
when you learn that everything is the fault of the younger generation.

And some folk might call you an XXXXXXX for contributing nothing to the
discussion - only complaining about a 'breach of etiquette'.

Indeed it does. I'm right, though, on both counts.

Where's the comedy in that? Why are you at work, if you're not working?
Why not admit that you are not capable of using a newsreader, much less
using Linux?
You GG posters are all alike. Dumb as a box of hammers. Especially the
Mac weenies.

I'm right, and was pretty civil about trying to inform the n00b.
