Return of pan problem
|

| The problems with pan have returned. To test I have configured pan on my
new Debian system and SuSE system in the same way, both versions are the
same, both configured with - news.telus.net as primary and - news.aioe.org
as fallback.
Here is a list of some random sites, first number is Debian second SuSE.
These are the number of headers in brackets next to site.
alt.radio.scanner 6 204
alt.radio/scanner.uk 38 183
alt.os.linux.debian 142 544
alt.os.linux.suse 302 1650
linux.debian.user 300 1585
fa.linux.debian 0 116
there are several other sites that the Debian system will not read any
headers and the request sits in the task list as queued, the SuSE system
downloads all the headers.
I have removed and re-installed several times after removing /.pan
directory.
I have looked at the pan faq's and found no relative notes.
What I don't understand is why it works OK for a time and then act up.
Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob

Typo? Since you're using the 0.9x series, preferences are in ~/.pan2
rather than ~/.pan that the 0.14.x versions use.
