Secure-apt and Synaptic, Aptitude and Adept
|
|
|
| I'm thinking about moving either to Debian or Kubuntu. Does anyone know
if Synaptic, Aptitude and Adept use secure-apt? Is there an apt-get and
a secure apt, or are all versions of apt now secure?
Thanks!

Not clear what you mean by "secure", but all the download sources for
Debian are from specific Debian URL. Here's part of my sources list:
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ etch main non-free contrib
deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ etch main non-free contrib
deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main contrib non-free
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main contrib non-free
They all have GPG keys.
