1 - How do I configure xorg.conf to move display slightly left and down on
LCD monitior 1280x1024. I have tried changing "Modeline" and setting
"DisplaySize" to 374 301.
I have the same problem on a new SuSE 10.3 installation that uses the same
monitor with KVM switch.

2 - On the etch system when I leave the GUI with Ctrl-Alt-F1 and return
with Alt-F7, the display's colors are really screwed up. I restart X with
Ctrl-Alt-BS and it's OK

Any help would be greatly appeciated. Thanks, Bob

Happy Holidays to everyone.

Using an adjusted mode line (arrived at with the help of xvidtune) is one
way, but it might be better to let the monitor adjust itself to the mode -
maybe auto-adjust?

Altering DisplaySize is wrong, though, since it has no effect on the display
size (only on what X thinks that it is).

Not saying what hardware and which driver isn't going to get you much help
with that...
