mplayer will play .rm but not .ram. Paste is at
http://rafb.net/p/XWCHn164.html. Important part, I think, is "invalid
chunk size" Does it with any .ram file. Any suggestions, pointers, hints,
guesses greatly appreciated. Running etch, if that's important.

Hmmm...

What do you ask for? What do you want to do?
Running Etch is important, but do you have any other repositories that
you get your packages from?
Do you have other stuff in your /etc/apt/sources.list
