Hi

I posed a question many days ago about targetting apt-get to install
to /usr/local/ (due to disk space limitations). Learnt that that is not
really possible.

Now I have a somewhat different question. I need to upgrade my installation
of openoffice.org from 2.0.4 that Lenny has to the latest one on
www.openoffice.org (2.2.0). The software is distributed as a set of rpms
that I will need to convert to debs using alien. I was wondering if I could
do something during the conversion to change the installation target
from /usr/bin to /usr/local/bin ?

Thanks.
