Kewl random quotes on login -- how?

| I've been a Slackware user for some time, and I must say I really
liked those random quotes it showed me after login. Now I have
installed Debian Etch, and it annoys me with "*absolutely NO
WARRANTY*" disclaimers. It feels much worse then optimistic and funny
Slackware quotes.
How do I install this feature into Debian?

Even though I'm a Debian user now, I took the alt.os.linux.slackware
fortunes (modquotes) and placed them into
/usr/local/share/fortunes/slackware.
Then I added something like this to my ~/.bash_profile:
fortune /usr/local/share/fortunes/slackware
These are real funny.
Even without installing modquote, you can install (using aptitude)
fortune-mod and use the fortunes in /usr/share/games/fortunes.

Andrey, About that message; I don't care for it either. It's the
file /etc/motd.tail . I wipe out the text and leave the empty file
for the system to have available - it does look for that file.
Also, the text will be there until a reboot.
