Fully agree with that. Not to dis Gentoo - they are excellent and their
docs are phenomenal. It's that I want to use my machine rather than watch
it compile. That's part of why I switched to Ubuntu. However, and
not to dis Ubuntu or its users, the OS "felt" to childish with all
their "improved" bells and whistles. I adore both Gentoo's and
Debian's package managers. But, over all, Debian suits my needs and
style.
