i was asked a question I could not answer well... What languages are
beryl...xgl...and xorg written in... I know beryl is written in C and i
know that "xgl" stands for x graphics language . but are they all
written in C?

Most likely. To be sure, just download the source code and look through
it.

They probably also include shell scripts or PERL scripts to help manage
them.
