A couple of things Josh.

1. When you post something that refers to something in another post, you
should keep it in the original post thread. Otherwise, it doesn't make any
sense because people who look at this post have no idea what you are
talking about. In addition, when you post you have to just wait patiently
for an answer, most people here trying to help don't stay here 24/7 and
can only answer when they have the time to come back and look at posts.

2. There aren't many people here who want to figure it out for you
although many are willing to help you figure it out for yourself and learn
a bit about Debian in the process.

So, have a look at the printout of your syslog. You will notice that both
the source and destination of those packets is within your class c
local network. (Those are not routable IP addresses) It's not coming
in from the Internet. You could also notice that the destination is the
broadcast address for your local net. Broadcast, oh, so something
is sending a packet to the address that goes to all addresses on your
network. There's the hint.
