(SATURN) Workshop, scheduled for May 14-16, 2007 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Topics to be discussed include, but are not limited to:
.. Future directions in software architecture technology
.. The relationship of software and system architecture
.. Clarifying and codifying the role of the software architect
.. Lessons learned in applying SEI software architecture technology
.. Efforts to improve the state of architectural practices across an
organization
.. Clarifying and codifying the economics-driven aspects of software
architecture

You'll also have the opportunity to hear two software architecture experts:
.. Ian Gorton, senior research scientist, Pacific Northwest National
Laboratory (PNNL)
.. Jeromy Carriere, vice president, Architecture at Fidelity Investments

In addition, you can fine-tune your software architecture skills by
attending tutorials given by authorities in the field. This year's
tutorials are targeting current architectural technical interest areas
such as evaluating service-oriented architectures, integrating
architecture-centric methods into object-oriented analysis and design,
planning global software development projects through tactics, and
managing architectural knowledge. For more information about the
program, see
