| The following updates are from the distributedcomputing.info website
( http://distributedcomputing.info/ ). These updates cover public distributed
computing projects (projects in which anyone can participate).

Aquaplastics 2005 reached its second goal (generating an additional 500,000
clicks) today, 6 weeks before its June 22 deadline, and the European plastics
industry will donate an additional 50,000 Euros to WaterAid.
- ( http://distributedcomputing.info/recent.html#elecle ) elecle ended on

Folding project by August, 2005, and is pursuing another research project to
host on the grid. Research organizations with computing projects in need of
free computing power are encouraged to submit a

project proposal or to submit questions to the World Community Grid team via
the Contact Us link on that page.
- ( http://distributedcomputing.info/ap-art.html#imp ) IMP completed rendering
job #46 (1,800 frames) at the end of April
- ( http://distributedcomputing.info/ap....html#prosurfer ) PROSURFER
has sent out all of its work units as of yesterday. The project will end
when it receives the results from all of these work units.

UK participants will use this mirror as their primary data download site.
- as of April 29,
( http://distributedcomputing.info/ap....html#lhcathome ) LHC@home is
receiving 100% correct results, and the project server is running well. The
project is generating a lot more work units now.
- beta version 1.30a of the
( http://distributedcomputing.info/ap....html#findadrug ) Find-a-Drug
