( http://distributedcomputing.info/ap...ml#proofreaders ) Distributed
Proofreaders! The project turned 5 on September 1. In the past 5 years
it has contributed over 7,400 electronic books (e-books) to
( http://www.gutenberg.org/ ) Project Gutenberg. For comparison, it took
Project Gutenberg 30 years to create its first 5,000 e-books. DP has almost
5,000 more e-books in the proofreading pipeline, with more being added
every day, and can use all of the help it can get. You can help the project
a lot by proofreading even one page every day.

release of the client software. Also, version 1.0.7 of the MJ12node client
is available for Windows and Linux as of today. It has many

fixes and an important change which requires users to upgrade to the latest
version as soon as possible. Also, a Majestic12 search engine plug-in is
available for the Firefox browser as of August 29.
