| Hi list,
I was having difficulties of enabling chinese character support for
ordinary terminal.
I don't want to use cxterm and other special terminal. I need something
that when I login from any tools (eg. putty, or telnet), I can still see
the chinese characters after login.
Is there any suggestion about how to configure this setup in Linux?

Hi, thanks for the ref. I believer I don't need cxterm coz that's
something to dowith X. If I only need to display chinese (no need for
input) after login by telnet, ftp, putty or ssh, which steps I need to
follow?
