Author RH9 on MD 6100 w/ 2.6.8

Dear Colleagues,
running the risk that I am at the wrong list, I would like to ask
whether someone has experience with a 2.6.8 kernel (installation) on an
MD6100 laptop. If so, I would be glad if you could help me configuring
the kernel as I lack a config-file and sufficient knowledge of the
hardware components and (hence) the installation always crashes sooner
or later. (Probably I misconfigured some hd or what.) I need 2.6.8 or
later because of the acpi capabilities.
Thx, Peter
Lenard

Hi Lenard,

thanx for the URL - I'll immediately try the configuration.

Cheers,
Peter
