Did you install the latest version ? ( 0.33 )
Did you install pyxdg ?
Install this package first,
Then check your homedirectory for .gdesklets/Displays
Check every display folder for Install_xxxx_sensor.bin files
Install these sensors (run ./Install_xxx_sensor.bin
After that run gdesklets and you'll find that some are working
( like the clock display ), but most won't.
Just remove the ones that don't work. ( don't worry about the ones that
can't be removed )
Go to http://gdesklets.gnomedesktop.org and look for the latest starterbar
version,(I think it's 0.31.2) and just drag the downloadlink from your
browser into the gDeskletts Shell. After that install the sensor and you
will have a real nice starterbar, it's really candy!!!
