Hey Folks,

Just want to verify something.

I'm going to be adding an external firewire drive to a system that
dual-boots FC3 and XP.

I'm assuming the only way I can get a read/write mount on both systems is
to format it FAT32. Are there any other options?

You could try explore2fs :-

Last time I used explore2fs it reads but does not write to ext2 (or
ext3, can't remember it exactly). Just check the webpage again. It says
writing to ext3 is not supported.

I think the best bet is still to create a fat32 partition to share data
between the two OSes.

Cheers,

NT stands for New Technology. Windowds NT(NT4.x)/2K(NT5.0)/XP(NT5.1)
was built on NT Technology. Anyone understands what "new" means, so
everyone knows M$ Windows NT/2K/XP/Whatever is a *real* innovation.
