Does anybody know how to open an application window in maximise mode ?

Every time I go to open an application like Nautilus , Services , User
Manager .... etc , they are not fully maximised and I have to click on the
maximise control button or double click on the title bar to get them to open
to their full size.

I have tried looking for the start up maximise option in the application
properties and window behaviour but I can't find anything that would fix the
problem.

I have also tried to maximise the window and then closing it via the menu
and the exit control box in the corner and that doesn't do any good either.

This is not a major problem , but it can get annoying at times.

Thanks.
