Yes, with something like VMWare or Virtual PC or using one of the Linux
version built to install on a FAT32 partition(WindowsXP can and must
use FAT32 also).

If by partition you mean hard drive then the answer is also yes, please
learn the difference between a partition and a hard drive in this case.
