Hi,

I've been running pop3s on port 995 (redhat9 via xinetd using sendmail).
All has been fine for over a year. It has just recently stopped working.
pop3 is fine on port 110. IMAPS works fine on 993. As far as I am aware,
nothing has changed on the server (although presumably something I am
unaware of has changed as things don't usually just stop working).

I'm not a linux expert, but have tried everything obvious to me:

The machine boots with not errors, sendmail and xinetd start fine.

There are no iptables rules.

lsof -i |grep pop3s returns "xinetd 1724 root 10u IPv4 2128
TCP *:pop3s (LISTEN)"

However when trying to access the server from outlook it returns the
following error:

"The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by the server.
(<Account/Servername>, Error Number: 0x800ccc0f)."

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

(I hope this is the right place to post such a question, apologies if it is
not).

Thanks.
