Hallo everybody
I want to use apm support for my desktop pc and added the acpi=off
command to my grub.conf file at the right place. But when I do a:
apm -s
my machine goes down into standby mode and comes right up again after a
second and prints me:
apm: Input/output error

on the shell. How can I solve this problem?

Thanks Peter
