| Hi all. I'm Tony and I'm brand new to linux, so new in fact, that I
need to download it through the cuteftp program. Is there anybody here
please who can give me instructions to get it working. I am still
using windows of course. I basically just need to know all the
settings so I can log into the ftp site.
I've looked up the ftp sites but they don't give you the info to set
it up through an ftp program.
Please any help will be appreciated.
Please either reply back to this newsgroup or email me at
danlo@iprimus.com.au
Thank You
Tony

Supply the log in name; anonymous
Supply the log in password; your_email_address
Take care to download the ISO images in binary mode.
Or use wget to get the iso images;
http://xoomer.virgilio.it/hherold/#Files
Example;
wget
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/p...-i386-disc1.iso
The above is one long line with a space after 'wget' and before the
rest.
