Anyone able to make Java runtime (jdk-1_5_0_06-linux-i586.bin) work with

IIRC I got Java 1_5_0_05 working on FC4 (1_5_0_06 wasn't out yet at
the time, and I'm not using FC4 now) by using the "nosrc.rpm" at
http://jpackage.org/rpm.php?id=3033 (you use it with rpmbuild to
create binary rpm's, like with a src.rpm package, except that instead
of using build-in source code it uses a copy of Sun's .bin file, which
it looks for in /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES).

yes, I used jdk-1_5_0_06-linux-i586-rpm.bin as
jdk-1_5_0_06-linux-i586.bin kept failing on me
