| We have sendmail-8.12.11-4 running on a RedHat Enterprise 3 machine.
A client of us would like to exchange mail by means of ETNR requests.
The problem is that ETRN request aren't allowed, when I try I get:
502 5.7.0 Sorry, we do not allow this operation
Although we don't have noetrn in the PrivacyOptions or Modify=E in the
DaemonPortOptions.
Also when I setup a telnet to port 25 on the localhost I get:
250-Hello localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1], pleased to meet you
250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES
250-PIPELINING
250-8BITMIME
250-SIZE 16777216
250-DSN
250-AUTH GSSAPI
250-DELIVERBY
250 HELP
I also expected to see 250-ETRN.
Could it be that ETRN request aren't compiled in by RedHat?
Besides install a "normal" version directly from sendmail.org is there
an other solution?
