How to setup an Oracle cluster without RAC on RHEL AS 4 update 4?

Dear Red Hat community,

I have been asked to setup a cluster for a group of Oracle databases
without Oracle's Real Application Cluster. The OS is RHEL AS 4 update 4.

Has anyone of you a suggestion that can do the trick?
