I'm on RHL9 (Shrike). Don't know if it's really ext2 or ext3. Isn't there
something like fstab the place to look?* When I did the menuconfig in the
rtlinux build, I recall specifying ext3. Why I did that I reall don't know.
Just seemed OK at the time. RTL is 2.4.20-6. I've installed this
(unfortunately) rtlinux on RTL9 many times. Had similar problems in the past
when the power in the area goes off unexpectedly, but I've always been able
to get back up despite file errors.
Well, if this doesn't work out, I can always go through 120 minutes of
installing it all again. Gads.
* Just looked at fstab and ext3 is the only fs there. I looked on the
operational machine, and it's the same.
