Problems with receiving emails in evolution

Hi,

does someone have an idea, why evolution always comes up with the error
message:

Failed to read a valid greeting from POP server domain.ltd

The mail server is OK and that problem only occurs when i try to receive
mails from more then 4 pop3 accounts.

Anyone have an idea how to fix the problem?
