Hi,
is it possible to start xinetd as a process (parent id != 1 ) and not
as a deamon?

We are calling xinetd from a C executable and we are looking for all
the process started by the that executable ( using parent id). As
xinetd is started as a deamon (parent id = 1), we are not able to track
it.

Please let me know, if we can start xinetd as a process.
