Author mount dvd over samba share problem

Hi,

I'm trying to mount a DVD movie and access it over a Samba share from a
Windows PC.

It's been mounted ok and I can see all the files over the samba share from
Windows applications. The problem is that Linux seems to have converted
the file names to lower case and the Windows application needs them in
upper case and --annoyingly-- won't accept vts_01_1.vob as being the same
file as VTS_01_1.VOB (the latter being what it is looking for).

Is there anyway I can force upper case for the file names using mount or
samba (or indeed any other way)?

Many thanks.

PS. Apologies if post is duplicated -- problematic server.

You can set preserve case on a share or globally in SAMBA. The default is
no globally. Check your config file.
