I am a paid subscriber to RHEL5, but there is a little problem, I think.

Today I noticed other people had the vmlinuz-2.6.18-8.1.8.el5PAE kernel, but
I had only the vmlinuz-2.6.18-8.1.6.el5PAE one.

I logged into the Red Hat Network site and found there were updates ready.
But the little icon never appeared on my panel. I ran the Software Updater
and got the updates, but that does not really satisfy me. I feel I deserve
notification. I have gotten them in the past. There is Notification Area
2.16.1 on the panel, so I should get it, right?

The RHN showed me that my machine is in contact with them, as recently as
this morning. So why no notification?
