| Does Anyone Know How to Setup VPN on the Netgear Prosafe FVS318 using
the ProSafe VPN Client software? I've followed the instructions, but
just can't get it right.
Thank you in advance!

I am in the same boat. I just bought a 5 license set of ProSafe client VPN
software for $150.00 and Netgear will not support it for free. I tried both
the FVM 318 manual and the ProSafe Manual step by step many times over (the
procedures are different!!!) and still no go. I went thru the Indians
first - what a joke - and after screaming they put me to level 2 support.
The guy was in a pickle because the Netgear executives will not allow them
to spend any time with software customers, if you can believe that. I asked
him where on their web site I could go to get the proper instructions and he
said that there was no such place. So basically I just paid Netgear $150.00
for software that doesn't work unless I pay them $26.00 more for support
with no guarantees. That is what the government calls extortion. I am going
to keep on trying and when I get it going I will come back ad post. If you
have any success, PLEASE let me know

I haven't used the software, but I have set up quite a few VPN tunnels
with my 318. FIrst, can you post the logs from it (the 318) with IP's
"X" out?

| Do you need to look at the Security Logs?

| Does anyone have any idea on how to get this setup correctly? We
still can't get the VPN client to work!
Thanks for your help!
