VPN PIX TO PIX (1 PIX BEHIND ROUTER)

| Can anyone tell me how I can get the PIX on a public IP address behind
a 2600 Router? I am trying to establish a site-to-site VPN but do not
have NAT T capabilities in the 2600 IOS.
LAN---PIX----2600---(Public IP's)
FA 0/0 ATM x.x.x.x/30
Single ATM interface overloaded
Can I use one of the External IPs and assign it to F/A 0/0 on the
router and use another address on the PIX?
Thanks in advance

| hi,
simply configure the inside int on the 2600 with a pub ip and the outside int of the pix with another ip on the same subnet as the inside int of the 2600.
the outside int of the 2600 will surely have a pub ip but with a differrent subnet.
configure universal route on 2600 for outside internet access and you are ready to get your vpn endpoint terminate on the outside ip of the pix.

You have to then do your site to site vpn configuration to serve the purpose of vpn. |
