I recently move to indonesia staying in a hotel ..i noticed its
filtered certain connection like irc and netgames are blocked .... my
hometwon is in the pilippines .. planning to run a vpn server or tunnel
so i can establish connection for irc and netgames....i tried running
winXP's vpn server thingie .. cant seem to connect to my home(server
side) ...at home aint using a router directly connected to thebroadband
modem ... my mom got vpn access on her laptop connecting to her office
vpn server .. using IPsec/UDP and Ipsec/TCP on port 10000 and she can
sucessfully establish connection ... so i would like to know what kind
of software i could use for the server and also for the client.. and is
it possible to tunnel myself so i can connect to irc server and play
online games? ...
