My husband just went out of town. The last thing he did before leaving was
to set up an internet phone (voip). It, along with the internet (broadband)
and email all work fine. But I cannot connect to my workplace anymore. I'm a
mom working from home and cannot be without my vpn for very long. The IT guy
suggested disconnecting the router that came with the phone, as that may
have reconfigured our network somehow? But I cannot unhook the internet
phone either, since my husband cancelled the old phone service, and I can't
be without a phone either.

Is there any way to get vpn working again?

I'm sorry if this is the wrong newsgroup, but it's the only one that came up
on my server when I typed vpn.

I would be sooooooo grateful for any help anyone can provide me!!

There have been a few reports from people that the router built into the
VOIP devices does not support PPTP or IPSEC pass through. You need to
contact whoever supports your VOIP equipment for a workaround.
