Hello,
I am looking for a hardware vpn solution. I have a simple requirement:
i need clients using Windows XP VPN client to connect to my router's IP
and be joined to my LAN. All i am looking for is a simple cable/dsl
router with vpn server functionality. I've been had by a few products
seeming to offer vpn server but really only support router to router
tunnelling. Budget: <$150 CDN

So far i'm looking at either a Linksys BEFVP41 (tried the BEFSX41 but
it doesn't do windows clients like the manual claims... unless i just
cant figure out how???)
or a HotBrick 401VPN. There's also the D-Link DI-808HV but i think
that's the same type of thing as the BEFSX41.

I am also open to recommendations and suggestions of the best way to
set this up
Thanks a lot
Pat

Draytek routers do this well and are pretty reasonably priced. I don't
know if they are available where you are though.
