Dear all,

I have a cisco VPN client installed on a Windows XP. I am using pppoe
dial-up to access internet. I use the cisco VPN client dial to a
PIX515e firewall to my office.
After the VPN connection is successfully connected, i cannot access the
server in our office by using hostname. It is OK for IP address.
What is the proble of it?

Is not a VPN problem. You need to resolve the name. If the VPN connection doesn't provide a WINS server (and obviously
you have one) you can act on the hosts file located on windows in the %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\drivers\etc folder.
Follow the syntax explained within the file hosts and put IP and name of your server.
If you have multiple servers to reach you need a WINS server.
