What do you need to run a remailer under linux?
I know I want to use mixmaster, but it's the connection to and
from mixmaster I am not so sure of. Should the output of
mixmaster be fed to sendmail, postfix, qmail, something else?
What about the input to mixmaster, if I don't want to use my
isp's server, and I don't?
Initially, I'll probably run as middleman, but will eventually
become last-hop, and will need to put in spam filters, filters
for email addresses of people being stalked - the whole anti-
sociopath setup; so whatever is used as a mail server will have
to have filtering.
By the way, it is good to see that apas is again, if only
temporarily, a place where you can learn about anonymity on the
internet.

mixmaster software and a MTA (postfix/qmail/sendmail)

postfix/qmail/sendmail wil sent mail with out your isp server.
(if outgoing port 25 on you isp isn't blocked)

mixmaster itself has the possibility to block ppl from receiving
messages.
