Please do not harm Gandalf! I am not sure if the imprinting can be
broken in such a manner. Konrad Lorenz did a fair bit of research on
this and from what I understand, the phenomenon is relatively
irreversible. The mere suggestion of harming Gandalf could cause
irreparable psycological damage to the troll. While the actual
intelligence of the troll may be questionable, one must show some
sympathy. It would likely be best for you to find your own troll for
your pleasure. There seem to be plenty of them out there;-)
