Privacy issues in general
|
|
|
| Hi all,
I havent posted here before, though found the newsgroup whilst
conducting some research into privacy issues online. My research is
mainly based on spyware and cookies (the amount of information companies
can obtain on you). What other issues do you consider of high
importance to your online privacy?
Also, are there any other privacy issue you consider very important (for
example national id cards invading your privacy).
If anyone could share their views or point me in the direction of some
websites I would be very much obliged.
Thanks,
PS If anyone has any interesting facts about the powers governments have
over us could they share those (eg governments services can tap your
phone line whenever they want)
Thanks again

PGP helps hiding the content of your e-mail messages.
Mixmaster helps hiding the recipient and sender of your e-mail messages.
Nym servers give you an e-mail address that can be used anonymously.
Steganography hides the fact that your are using encryption in the first
place.
Use all for optimal privacy..
