Hi,
Just started using JBN and can receive messages with no problem but
as soon as I start to send a message I get the following error:
"23:39 MyISP: No valid recipients specified"
This applies to nyms and anon mail. The same SMTP works fine with QS.
Another problem is when trying to get keys from Noreply...again, fine
with QS but with JBN I Get:
"Error accessing http://www.noreply.org/echolot/pgp-all.asc/ HTTP
failure"(saame with mix keys) I can get the stats from noreply though.
I would stick with QS, but I think JBN is worth persevering with....
and there a few features I like, such as nyms amd the stat viewer
BTW, I am now using Panta's latest Beta, but the same occurs with all
versions..

Sorry I don't recall and can not think about the cause.
Try Googling for that error "No valid recipients specified"

Panta's latest build should have a "Wget Stats" function.
I suspect there is information included with Panta's documentation.
For the reason and some background review the following threads:

Could be the SMTP authentication issue. Try Checking Mail right before you
send your message. Checking mail in JBN is done with a Ctrl + E. If that is
the problem, then Panta's JBN mod should address that issue.
Here are some threads from Google about "JBN - no valid recipients specified"

Thanks, I'm still looking through the threads, but there seems to be
no conclusive solution.
Maybe time to find another SMTP(where do you find SMTPs that need no
authorisation?)
