| Don't think so. It's the same on the NNTP-server I use.

I am puzzled by this. I saved the post to a text file and checked the
signature with these results:

C:>gpg bj.txt
gpg: bj.txt: unknown suffix
Enter new filename: bj.xtx
gpg: Signature made 12/06/04 23:48:59 West-Europa (standaardtijd) using
DSA key
ID 5F6D4E22
gpg: Good signature from "Bluejay <bluejay@cotse.net>"
gpg: WARNING: This key is not certified with a trusted signature!
gpg: There is no indication that the signature belongs to the
owner.
Primary key fingerprint: 2A65 2C51 B8B5 63FE 0506 A42D E163 548F 5F6D 4E22

Since I do not use Agent, I am not sure how to re-retrieve the post.

I also checked the post on bananasplit.info and it also verified
according to Enigmail. Yours however did not for some unknown reason!

Subject: Re: for the record
Date: 18-12-2004 18:50

gpg: Signature made 12/18/04 18:49:49 West-Europa (standaardtijd) using
DSA key ID 85F985D5
gpg: BAD signature from "emperor <emperor@the.empire>"

I am not sure why this is, other posts of you do verify correctly. I
X-Posted to ASP because I am really totally puzzled by this. I suspect
it might be differences between GnuPG and PGP 8 or something. Or maybe
some characters being added by some newsservers..

There is something very familiar about the way this emperor guy
seems to collect signatures on his PGP key. I'm sure others will
agree after a quick server search.

At least his key was not forged. I have three forged keys on the server
(and have received mail encrypted to them)..

The one signed by Imad is the only current correct one.
