I updated my PGP remailer keys to get Bikinni's new key. JBN told me I had multiple
RSA keys for Senshi. So I do a Tools|View PGP Keyring to remove the old one. But
the keyring JBN displayed only had my personal nyms listed. No remailers at all.

I opened up PGP Keys and could see all the keys OK. And I can send anonymous
mail fine with JBN. But why am I only seeing my nyms PGP Keys? Where is the
setting in JBN to point to my full keyring?

Thanks.

Perhaps?...

<http://www.skuz.net/potatoware/jbn2/reports.html>

Name: Keys appear missing from keyring

Version: JBN 2.1.4

Date: 28 Jan 2000

Status: Due to unresolved problems in SPGP.DLL

Report: With some PGP 5/6 setups, some keys may appear to be missing
from Tools|View PGP Keyring, JBN2 may report keys missing, or
decryption may fail despite the key actually being present.

Comment: If the SPGP DLL has problems reading the keyring, it will
ignore the problematic key. This problem is more prevalent with some
versions of PGP than others. (PGP 6.0.2ckt often produces this problem.)

Workaround: Try a different version of PGP 5 or 6, or use PGP 2.6.x.
Users may also wish to check the SPGP DLL Homepage for an updated
version of the DLL. JBN 2.1.4 is distributed with SPGP DLL version
2.3.0.0 (31 Dec 99). This DLL is installed into the JBN2 program
folder (C:\JBN2) or may be relocated to the Windows\System folder.

Thanks for the response. I don't know what the problem was but it's
back to normal now.

I have JBN setup to get PGP keys from Panta. Your keyring, Bikinni,
is second in line.

Everything was OK and I could see my entire ring - both remailer keys
and my nym keys. I saw your post about recent key/capstring changes
so I did a 'Get CPunk Keys' in JBN and chose your keyring to use.

After updating keys I got an error message saying there were duplicate
keys for edo <anon@cryptorebels.net>. So I go to 'View PGP Keyring'
to delete the old ones and only saw my nyms listed on the keyring.

I opened PGP (6.58, by the way) and of course could see both my nym
keys and the remailer keys.

Later I updated keys with Panta's URL and now I can see all the keys in
JBN again. When you posted your message I thought it might be a
"problem key" that was causing the problem so I updated keys again
from your site. I was thinking it would cause the problem again, but it
didn't.

So, I don't know what was wrong but everything is fine now. Thanks
for jumping in.

Oddly enough, I had a similar problem with JBN and PGP 6.58ckt. The problem
child was a revoked key. After deleting it from PGP, JBN was fine again.

Make sure you keep your key ring clear of any revoked or invalid keys.
