What options do I have to browse the web besides Tor? From what I
gather Tor was introduced around 2003, what common solutions were used
before that?

Everyone must be laughing at me! ...and they should too. I finally
got smart and did a google search on all posts from "rocky" and guess
what. The only posting he has ever done is to trash me! (about 10 of
them). OK guys, that's funny. I can laugh at myself. I got trolled.
Enjoy!

Later, Doug

I did warn you Doug. Some people take it on themselves to try and trash any successful
person. Some seem to specifically target privacy sites. My sincere best advise is grow
a thicker skin or go deaf in one year (the one that listens for the trolls).

As I have always said, nothing kills a troll faster than starvation. Starve it of
replies and it dies.

We had the Freedom network for a while by Zero Knowledge Systems. And
then there is JAP by the TU-Dresden. Can't think of any others except
the Anonymizer.com type (single hop, no chaining) accounts..
