Two people (both apparently sending via AOL) have independently
complained that emails sent to my nym.alias.net address are bouncing
back; meanwhile, I've received, with no trouble, email to that account
from two other people and some spam. Yet I tried CC'ing one of my own
outgoing messages (via another nym) to my nym.alias.net address and
have seen no sign of it... and no bounce message either.

The servers are evidently up and my reply-block is clearly not broken.
Nor can my mailbox be full, as I've had two incoming emails *since* the
first report of bouncing! What kind of error can be causing this?

(Unfortunately, none of my correspondents have been technically-minded
enough to quote the exact error message...)

Update (after the first version failed to arrive!):
Nothing I sent *out* yesterday via nym.alias.net went through;
however, a further two emails successfully arrived.... I see the
nymserver is showing up as low but active in the stats. Whatever is
going on, I wonder?

It goes down for a few days every six months or so... but this is
something new :-(

Well, it's arrived... four days later!

Meanwhile up-to-date spam continues to trickle in via the nym, but the
m2news gateway appears to be down... (Clearly *something* wrong out
there!)

We live in a culture in which being well-spoken is considered
proof of insincerity.
