I'm in the process of putting together a new meta-stats service.
Currently it's in testing and I'd appreciate any feedback people may
have.

There's no index page yet, but stats pages can be reached using:
http://beta-stats.bananasplit.info/banana.txt
http://beta-stats.bananasplit.info/dingo.txt
etc etc.....

This looks great.. comparrison shopping for stats

all it needs is a master page that links to each remailer's statpage

I, for one, was missing the meta-stats badly. Many thanks! :o)

Done.
http://beta-stats.bananasplit.info

I've left it as beta-stats for the moment as I need to do some more
testing and refinement.

More refinements:
Like the old meta-stats, the individual remailer pages now ignore
results that fall outside an uptime threshold. As well as Active and
Dead Ping sections, there's now also an Ignored Pings section.

Current parameters:

Active pings = Received within previous 8 hours and within 10% of
average uptime.

Ignored pings = Received within previous 8 hours and outside 10% of
average uptime.

Dead pings = Latest result is greater than 8 hours old. (These are
deleted after 28 days)

When a pinger has reported no active pings for 28 days, that pinger is
deleted.

Average uptime on index is based on all pingers. Average uptime in
individual pages is based on active-only pings.

Please let me know if you have suggestions for additional functionality.

Darn, running a re-mailer must pay good. How else do you find the time to do
all these neat things?

Just kidding. Terrific work. Thanks. I know, no pay. A lot of sacrifice of
your personal time for the rest of us.

And a very public thanks to you for the help you have given me both in this
group and by E-mail. It is so very much appreciated.

My most sincere and warm regards,
