Oh, crap. I hope Zax comes here and explains this. I suppose he's only
human. It's difficult not to get annoyed with trolls and floods, but I
would wish a remop to be as neutral as Switzerland (at least publicly). We
have seen time and time again respected remops get their asses handed to
them when they get personally involved. Sure, block a newsgroup, whatever,
but netkkopping?
Zax, say it ain't so. I value your service too much.

Zax will need to speak for self.
However in reviewing the publicly available information; one must make
the distinction between the administrator responsibilities of the
Bananasplit newsserver versus those of the Banana remailer.
The quoted article appears to apply to the former.
The Bananasplit newsserver is not an anonymous service.
Ciao!

In this instance, I limited crossposting to the group in question, just
the same as I recently announced in apa-s when somebody was wildly
crossposting to news.groups. Notifying Teranews of that action and why
I'd done it is a matter of courtesy as I propagate their messages. I
would do the same with any of my peers that was being abused.
As Bikikii points out, this has nothing to do with an anonymous service:
As Banana is Middleman, I cannot read, filter or censor a single posting
that passes through it. Nor would I ever wish to do so.

IMHO, reporting spam/net-abuse ain't netkkopping and is perfectly
fine. I support Zax in his decision.

Well, Ok. After looking at the thread in question and thinking about your
responses here, I suppose it was more of an administrative call.
Regards.
