Not really. Manic often includes delusions of grandeur, a lack of
focus, excessive talking, physical agitation, insomnia, and an inability
to self-diagnose the problems they have in that state (among other
things.)

Being "manic" does have a few advantages, but overall it is not a good
thing and has numerous disadvantages over a more "normal" state of mind.
