usnet propogation by remailers. (I think Frog should come out of retirement).
For quite some time I have been using the "free" news.cis.dfn.de newserver.
Today I discovered that they appear to have assigned me my own IP as the IP
that formerly resolved to news.cis.dfn.de, now resolves to a unique IP. This
appears on the surface to be an attempt to collate and profile my usnet postings.
Good thing that I have not used it to post anything that could get me into
hot water.
The IP for news.cis.dfn.de has been changed and my username and password no
longer work for it. I would be very careful using news.cis.dfn.de for anything
but the most innocuous posts, since it appears that neo Nazis may be running
this "free" newserver. The IP I orginally used resolved to news.cis.dfn.de.
It now resolves to a unique ID and to: Freie Universitaet Berlin

ZEDAT
Fabeckstr. 32
Berlin GERMANY 14195
DE
Maybe this is where the Nazi bunker is located? Makes it alot easier to track
and profile your usenet activity when you have your own IP.

Hello idiot,
cis.dfn.de news-service has been discontinued and been renamed to
individual.net
And as of April 1st it is not free anymore. You have to pay for it and
if you didnt pay until today, your account has been deleted.

Well, I do not know who told you this, but neither news.cis.dfn.de nor
news.individual.net were an "anon service".
So you are really screwed.
